New societies, still settling in

The sectors along Dwarka Expressway are mostly newer high-rise societies, with many projects recently handed over and others still being built. In a lot of them, residents are still moving in, the RWA may only just be forming, and day-to-day maintenance is with the builder's facility team.

That stage of a society's life has its own tank problems. When many flats are still empty, water moves slowly through the sumps and overhead tanks and stands for longer, which suits algae and lets silt settle undisturbed. Construction dust from nearby sites can get in through vents and loose lids. And a tank that has never been cleaned since handover may still hold sand or debris from the build.

Why the first clean matters

Where a society relies partly on tanker water while supply arrangements settle, silt and sediment tend to build up faster, and most of it ends up in the underground sumps. Getting every sump and overhead tank cleaned once, early on, gives the society a clean baseline and a photo record of each tank. After that, the usual rule is every 6 months.

It also helps with handover. When the RWA takes over maintenance from the builder's team, a dated set of before and after photos for every tank shows exactly what condition the tanks were left in, and when they were last cleaned. That is far easier than piecing it together later from memory.

How we clean a society on the expressway

  1. Send the tank list on WhatsApp: towers, sumps, overhead tanks and rough sizes or dimensions.
  2. Get a written fixed quote including GST, with bulk rates for 5 or more tanks. It's free and comes before any visit.
  3. Agree the schedule tower by tower, so only one tower's water is affected at a time.
  4. We clean from outside: sludge suction, high-pressure jet wash, food-safe disinfectant, clean-water flush and drying, about 60 to 90 minutes per tank. Nobody enters a sump.
  5. Receive before and after photos of every tank for your records, and pay after the job by UPI or cash.

Questions

Only some residents have moved in. Should we clean now or wait?

Cleaning now is worth it. Standing water and construction dust are the main problems in a half-occupied society, and an early clean gives you a clean baseline with photos.

Who should book, the builder's maintenance team or the RWA?

Whoever manages the tanks today. We send the same written quote and photo report either way, so records carry over when the RWA takes charge.

Can you clean one tower at a time over several days?

Yes. Tower-by-tower scheduling is how we plan society cleaning, so you can spread it over the dates that suit residents.
